The big question this Summer is: which game will be the better superhero/supervillain game? On PS3, it is superhero combat between inFamous and Prototype. To me, they both seem like they are the same game with my opinions quickly shifting preference between the two. I decided to download the inFamous demo and here is what I have to say:

White Knight Chronicles: Forgotten Secret Trailer Preview

White Knight Chronicles, how you tease me. Your first CG trailer blew me out of the water with the magnitude and scope of the world. The video here showcases the care that has been made in the localization process. While only the main character, the villain(?) and the narrator speak, their voices are good and above in quality.

Batman Arkham Asylum Hands-On Preview (PS3)

I had the great fortune to be at a electronics store last weekend and I got some hands on time with the Batman Arkham Asylum Demo that seems to be exclusive to the PS3 kiosks. The Batman demo only showed off the challenge rooms, which are the equivalent of Batman fighting waves of Joker's goons. I played the challenge room shown at the start of this trailer and shown frequently up to the minute mark. The demo didn't have any other levels to pick or bosses to fight so I am just referring to the trailer above to help understand the challenge room setup.

Bayonetta: Story Trailer Preview

I'm a big fan of Bayonetta, let me explain why. I love stylish British women with great one liners. Bayonetta's Ninja Gaiden/Devil May Cry action gameplay is one of my favorite genres. Any lame person can play turn based games (hint they are usually Japanese games) where they can walk away from the "action" and come back hours later to make a move. Life isn't like that. Flying by the seat of your pants is a true skill, one that action games bring to life. Anyway, Bayonetta looks to offer a complete package from the trailers shown. It has a lot of great features:

Starcraft 2 Preview Alpha Video

This is the latest version of Starcraft 2 that Blizzard is developing. This is the newest alpha version which has missiles that people "don't know how to deal with yet." I am a moderate Starcraft fan and the level of competition in playtesting is already high. The second part is after the click.
