FEAR 2: Project Origin (PC) Review

FEAR 2 is a solid shooter and decent sequel, but it improves the franchise by inches and ends up feeling very familiar. It’s a decent title, but by no means a must-play.

Here is my runthrough of the first level of Goldeneye Rogue Agent. The first level takes place at Fort Knox, and you must stop Goldfinger from contaminating the bullion. Save the bullion unnamed stranger!

Sim Tower Guide and Media

By BlueZeroBlueZero

Below are my strategy/tips that I follow for building world-class Sim Towers. I don't have access to my old saved games on my Mac. Here are some saved games to get people started and also see first-hand how I build towers. The guide is at the bottom of the page. The guide is designed for Sim Tower, but it is also great knowledge for Yoot Tower:

Sim Tower (Mac/PC) Review

By BlueZeroBlueZero

SimTower.png

Background: Sim Tower is a classic game by a classic company called Maxis. Maxis was THE leader in innovative simulation games during the early 20th century. This period of time represents the focus on fun gameplay over graphics. Sim Tower is so addictive, that I always had trouble stopping back in the day. It is the ultimate causal and hardcore game that anyone can pick up and play. I have “beat the game” by getting 5 stars and building the Cathedral on the 100th floor and am a master tower constructor. I've played Sim Tower on both PC and Mac. If any information is inaccurate, it’s because I’ve played a lot of the sequel, Yoot Tower which also is a great game.

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim (PC) Preview

By BlueZeroBlueZero

Majesty2screen.png

I’m guessing that not many people have played the best selling game RTS Majesty: The Kingdom Sim when it came out in 2000 on PC. The game was unique in that the player does not have direct control over their units, the only way to influence their actions is through reward flags and exploration flags. Majesty 2 is a game that I have high expectations for since I am a huge fan of the original and expansion pack. I have faith in the new company Paradox Interactive in retaining the glory of the original.

This is an announcement that I am using FeedBurner now for the RSS feeds. It allows readers to subscribe to the feed by email which is a great option to have. The new RSS feeds by FeedBurner are much more efficient and gets rid of the annoying Wikidot icon next to each entry.

Amazing Golden Sun Music Remixes/Remastered

By BlueZeroBlueZero
28 Feb 2009 04:55

I love Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. They are amazing RPGs with the best music ever composed on Gameboy Advance. You can listen to the original Golden Sun Soundtrack here and compare the remixes to the original. I will update this post if I find more music worthy of being shown off. Here are some of my favorite remixes:

Stranglehold (PS3) Review

By BlueZeroBlueZero
24 Feb 2009 04:16

Background: I haven’t seen the movie and I was impressed with the trailers Midway released showing a very destructible environment. I eventually played Stranglehold on my friend’s PS3 when I came over to visit him sporadically and beat it early this year. The game lends itself to being played in chunks and is not a game that you would want to finish in one sitting. I beat the game on normal difficulty collecting a marginal amount of origami cranes and finishing the game with an overall rank of E. Let’s just say that the E doesn’t stand for excellent.

Lots of gun pointing in this game
